New construction permit -


Please find attached the form to request a permit for new residential construction. Please complete the form, taking care to put your initials, sign and add the date.

For the purposes of issuing the permit, we also need the following document and information:
Completed permit application form
Certificate of location;
Site plan prepared by a land surveyor
Construction plan, signed and sealed by the professionals concerned.

Furthermore, please note that any new construction is subject to by-law no. 620 relating to PIIAs and must therefore be the subject of a resolution by the Municipal Council.
To this end, we invite you to submit some availability slots to us in order to plan a kick-off meeting.

Please send us the form and documents by mail, email or in person. It is also possible to drop it off in the mail drop located to the right of the main entrance to City Hall.
Please address your envelope to the Urban Planning department, add your address in the upper left corner and add the words permit request.

There are also fees of $500 + a deposit of $750 for the certificate of location and a deposit of $1000 for the planting of trees, payable by check (made payable to Ville de L'Île-Perrot), by debit or cash.

From the moment the application is deemed complete, please allow a delay of a few weeks/months to obtain a permit.


Demolition permit -

Please find attached the form to request a demolition permit. Please complete the form, initial, sign and date.

We also need the following documents and information:
Liability insurance.
Letter to tenants, if applicable.
Photo of the building.
Scale layout plan.
Replacement plan.
Evidence of service disconnection.

Please send us the form and documents by mail, email or in person. It is also possible to drop it off in the mail drop located to the right of the entrance to the town planning department of City Hall. Please address your envelope to the Urban Planning department, add your address in the upper left corner and add the words permit request.

There are fees of $35 and $500 for the permit. Payable by check (made payable to Ville de L'Île-Perrot), by debit, credit or cash.
